Cindy Preston::

As managing partner, Cindy Preston brings thirty plus years of Fortune 50 level operations management and planning experience to Cobalt Pointe. With experiences in sales, service, tactical and strategic planning, process improvement, performance management, employment, training, and a host of other functions, Cindy has a well-rounded understanding of how results improve when elements of a business work in harmony. Already an experienced manager when computers became a core resource to business operations, Cindy was early to experiment with ways they could be used to improve work processes. Over the past ten years she has focused specifically on directing the development of software applications to support employees in their jobs. Her successful implementation of ground-breaking database and web-centric software application projects has honed her ability not only to deliver results on time and within budget, but also to ensure that the selected technologies always serve well the people they support. A graduate of Duke and Emory Universities, Cindy manages new business development and client relations, and leads Cobalt Pointe's project assessment team.

John Preston::

John Preston received his degree in Computer Science from Georgia Tech and has over ten years of experience in systems architecture and development. His years as a technical auditor at a major telecommunications company provided experience with a wide variety of systems and platforms from legacy mainframes to modern e-commerce sites. In roles as system architect, lead developer, and web application developer, John assessed, integrated, and developed systems across many different platforms. He discovered a talent for visualizing and quickly implementing software solutions in almost any situation, whether building from the ground up, repairing underperforming systems, or enhancing applications originally built by others. Identifying ways to target technology implementations so that they produced measurable improvements for clients became a cornerstone of his efforts, and his vision of using that focus to build a business based on quality and innovation led him to propose the partnership that became Cobalt Pointe. John heads Cobalt Pointe's technical assessment of client requirements, determination of the most effective technical path to deliver value, and management of development teams.
